Photography was in my DNA before I was born. My father owned a camera store in downtown NYC and was actually displaced by the World Trade Center. He eventually moved his business to Mount Vernon, NY.

My dad passed early in my childhood but his brother kept the photo fire burning within me. He gave me my first Roliflex when I was 8 and my first Nikon when I was a teenager.

During college in the late 80's, I was very (surprise) experimental. Some of my favorite pictures from that era are on this website. Back then I looked at Photography as a true art. I would shoot in Auto and focus 100% of my energy on the what I saw in the viewfinder. I was young and naive.

As I got older I became captivated by all aspects of my hobby. I really learned how to use the camera, and that, coupled with my ability to find a good shot has brought me here.

I am a Nikon diehard, currently shooting with a D300. My three favorite lenses these days are my 18-200, 12-24 and 70-200 2.8.

I am available for projects in Northern NJ, Rockland County and NYC. I find that people sometimes need quality photos of their cars, homes, items for Ebay, family gatherings (not weddings), kids sports, etc. I will do that and be very affordable. You can fill out the form on the Contact tab above.
